How to Remove Excess Grout from Mosaic Projects After It Dries
If you have added grout to your mosaic project and returned to find that it has set, here are steps you can follow to remove the excess grout:
Scrubbing the Mosaic: Use a soft brush under running water to gently scrub the mosaic surface. Warm water can help in softening the grout. For tougher grout, a metal brush can be used carefully to remove the grout without damaging the mosaic.
- Detailed Cleaning: Focus on areas between the beads and ensure all excess grout is removed. Start with gentle pressure and increase if necessary.
- Final Check: Inspect your mosaic to ensure all the excess grout is removed and the beads are intact.
